Braces
Our clinic provides a wide range of services at reasonable charges.
What are Braces?
Braces align your teeth and jaws to improve your smile, facial appearance and oral health. Braces treat problems like crooked or crowded teeth, overbites or underbites, incorrect jaw position and disorders of the jaw joints.
Types of Braces
There are a wide range of braces types available. They range from traditional metal wire and brackets, to new innovations such as clear wires or even clear molded plastics.
The primary considerations and trade offs involve appearance, duration of treatment and cost. Do make an appointment with us to find a solution that will fit your needs.

Why you may need Braces
Are you very affected by the way your teeth are aligned?
Are you wondering whether there was some way to make your smile look more radiant and build up your confidence?
Do you wish to close the gaps between your teeth or tame some protruding teeth?
Is there a recommended age for treatment?
Patients of ANY AGE can benefit from braces (as long as you have teeth). Treatment durations tend to be shortest for patients between 10 and 14 years of age, when the body is still growing.
However, braces aren’t just for kids! More and more adults are also wearing braces to correct bite problems and, of course, to improve their smiles!
Tooth Whitening
Our clinic provides a wide range of services at reasonable charges.
What is tooth whitening?
Lightening the colour of teeth by several shades with the use of bleaching agents to improve the appearance of a smile.
How is it done?
The procedure involves scheduled applications of the whitening agents over a period of 3 to 6 weeks (or up to a year in worst base stains).
There are 2 methods you can consider: In-Office Whitening and At-Home Whitening.
At Bright Dental, we recommend At-Home Whitening. It is generally cheaper and more convenient for the patient.
Crowns
Our clinic provides a wide range of services at reasonable charges.
What is a Crown?
Dental Crowns, also known as "Caps", encase cracked or badly decayed teeth so that they may continue to be used without pain.
During preparation, the tooth is trimmed and shaped to receive the crown. Then a molded impression is taken and is sent to the dental laboratory.
A temporary crown is fitted on the tooth while the crown is created. Once the crown is ready, it is adhesively bonded onto the tooth.
Types of Crowns
There are multiple types of crown materials which may be used. They may be full porcelain, metal, Metal Ceramic, Gold, Ceramage, Cer Con, and others.
Contact us for a consultation to determine your ideal course of action.

Why you may need a Crown
When tooth decay has caused loss of too much tooth structure to support fillings, or results in an excessive cavity.
When the tooth structure has fractured and is not reparable by using traditional bonding methods.
Following a Root Canal Treatment, where a crown is often suggested to strengthen the tooth.
Bridges
Our clinic provides a wide range of services at reasonable charges.
What is a Dental Bridge?
Dental bridges are false teeth which are anchored on the neighbouring teeth to replace one or more missing teeth.
Two teeth on either side of a lost tooth are Crowned and act as anchors for a false tooth to replace the missing tooth at centre. This forms the "bridge" between the supporting teeth.
Types of Dental Bridges
Some typical types are Fixed Bridges, Resin-Bonded Bridges and Cantilever Bridges. Typical materials used include Porcelain over Zirconia, Porcelain over Metal or Full Metal.

When you might benefit from a Dental Bridge?
A Dental Bridge may be a suitable treatment when a single tooth is lost between two stable teeth.
The treatment is a good alternative should you wish to avoid dentures. It can give a very natural appearance when replacing missing front teeth.
Advantages of a Dental Bridge
As a permanent solution, a Bridge is a cheaper and simpler procedure as compared to an Implant.
Depending on the condition of the anchor teeth, and provided you take the proper recommended care, it should last over decades./p>
Bonding
Our clinic provides a wide range of services at reasonable charges.
What is Dental Bonding?
It is a very simple cosmetic procedure which involves adhering molded acrylic resin onto the surface of a tooth to repair damage or improve its shape or appearance.
When do you need a Bonding?
Bondings may be used to cover imperfections such as cracks, chipped edges or mismatched filling colors.
Shaped resins may also be used to close spaces between teeth or shape abnormal teeth.
Dentures
Our clinic provides a wide range of services at reasonable charges.
What are Dentures?
These are removable false teeth made of plastic which are shaped to rest on the gums and existing teeth.
They are specially fashioned to suit the mouth situation of each patient comfortably and securely.
Types of Dentures
Dentures may be molded of acrylic with metal wires or hooks embedded. Other types may be cast with a metal base.
Full dentures may be constructed for patients with total loss of teeth. Partial dentures are molded to integrate with whatever teeth are remaining.

When might one get Dentures?
Dentures are a relatively non invasive treatment. No drilling of surgery is generally needed.
It is a simple means of improving a smile lost to missing front teeth, or prevent existing teeth collapsing into the gap caused by fallen teeth.
In cases of severe tooth loss, it can restore chewing ability and improve digestion, although biting strength will not be at the level of Implants.
Fillings
Our clinic provides a wide range of services at reasonable charges.
What are Fillings?
Composite Resin Restoration is used to restore areas of teeth which have decayed, cracked or broken off.
They are coloured to match your teeth, applied and shaped, then hardened to set under a special light.
Why use Composite Resin Restoration?
Composite Resin Restoration requires less of the decayed tooth to be removed when compared with traditional amalgam fillings. It also stabilises the tooth by chemically bonding with the structure.
Aesthetically, they are able to closely match the shape and color of the affected teeth, giving a more natural looking result.
Implants
Our clinic provides a wide range of services at reasonable charges.
What are Implants?
A dental Implant is an artificial tooth root replacement.
It involves minor surgical implantation of a plug into the jaw. This plug fuses with the bone over a period of months, after which it serves as a permanent support for artificial teeth.
Why you may want Implants
Implants are a permanent solution to tooth loss and helps avoid the inconvenience of Dentures.
They allow for a stronger bite than Dentures or Bridges allow.
They help preserve the bone structure at the location of the lost tooth, preventing bone loss which might otherwise occur, resulting in adjacent teeth falling inwards and other consequences.

Suitability
Note that an assessment will first have to be conducted to see if the underlying bone structure is sufficient to support the Implant.
If it is insufficient, additional bone augmentation treatments may be required.
